Lucknow: Founder-Director of City Montessori School and renowned educationist, Dr Bharti Gandhi and CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon along with several staff members of CMS, planted a tree in the memory of CMS Founder Late Dr Jagdish Gandhi, who was a doyen of education and a renowned social activist. The tree plantation drive was held at the CMS Head Office wherein all the CMS Officers, administrators and staff members assembled on the green lawns of the CMS Headquarters and planted saplings. They also sang songs for conservation of environment and praised the gifts of nature bestowed upon the earth and its people by the Almighty God.
In her address on this occasion, Dr Bharti Gandhi said that late Dr Jagdish Gandhi was not only a great educationist but also championed social causes like tree plantation, earth conservation, environmental protection and cleanliness drives. He provided strong leadership to the student community and paved the way for a clean and healthy earth environment for the coming generations.
